Nilabh Chaudhary (Neil), PhD, CEO
Dr. Chaudhary holds a Ph.D. in biochemistry from the University of Western Ontario in London, Canada. He was awarded a fellowship from the Damon Runyon Cancer Research Foundation to train in cell biology with Nobel Laureate Günter Blobel at the Rockefeller University in New York.
Prior to founding NeoCytex, Dr. Chaudhary was the CEO of a Cleveland Clinic startup (Ridgeway) and before that, led R&D at biotech companies in Houston (Triplex, renamed Aronex, acquired by Agenus) and Boulder (RPI, renamed Sirna, now part of Alnylam; and Atugen, now part of Silence, UK).
With over 23 years of research, management, and commercialization experience, Dr. Chaudhary has served as business and scientific adviser to more than 15 biotech companies, foundations, and investment groups. He is a Director of Hopewell Global Health Initiative in Covington, KY, a nonprofit focused on developing nutrition products for the malnourished.
